Doug Maynard Profile
I write blogs, wrestling columns, fic stories and bad jokes. I used to write "Tossing Salt - Worldwide News" for Wrestle-Zone UK, but since they went down, I'm all on my own. (sobs). Actually, I'm not - me and some friends have a project called InFamousTV. More on that once we get the B.S. straightened out. So I guess I should just give the basics, right? I'm Doug - I'm middle-aged and crazy. I like wrestling, muppets, comics and Alice Cooper. And anything you want to know, just ask. I don't bite (much).

Wrestling, Pop Culture & Life From A Dougie Point Of View…
So you’re asking yourself, what is DougMaynard.com and why am I here? And who is this “Doug” person anyhow? Well, let’s start off easy. My name is Doug and I’m an alcoho… Oops. Wrong introduction. I’m Doug and I’m a middle-aged and crazy life long “clerk” who also happens to love to write… a lot. I’ve been writing a column, called ‘Tossing Salt – Worldwide News” since 2002, about the world of professional wrestling. It started off at a site called thewrestlinginformer.net and now currently has a home at PWBTS.com. I like wrestling, comics, jelly beans, cats, Alice Cooper and Muppets. And this site – it’s all about… whatever. There will be a lot of content about wrestling, the King of Sports. There will be lots of Q&A stuff from the pages of Facebook. There will be music discussion and politics and pop culture and current news and lions, tigers and bears (oh my!). What I’m saying is here, at my site, it’s anything goes and nothing is off limits. So take a look around and I’m sure you’ll find something that catches your interest. I’m Doug and this is my world. Welcome. Any questions, comments, or thoughts, just let me know. I love feedback and I don’t bite (much). Thanks for reading and I guess as the great Baron Von Raschke would say, “dat is all de people need to know!”. Love ya – mean it! Ubuntu!
